FAMILY HANDBOOK (ISSUE # 4, 5 and 6)
The aim of CAMJAP’s education handbooks is to transform a visit to the museum into an experience where children (aged 7 to 12) and parents share what they know and discuss what happens around them; what and how they feel about a work of art. The six examples given in each book launch a specific activity. In these issues:
Are we also a part of the landscape? suggests that the onlooker is also a part of the landscape portrayed in a work of art; Who is portrayed here? focuses the theme of self-representation; Is there British Art in here? propounds a visit marked by the interpretation of six examples of British Art in CAMJAP’s permanent collection.
