Sitting in a circle around a box made of tiny compartments, like the ones kings kept for storing samples of exotic wood and precious stones, the one we open hides pieces of wood, iron, limestone, lead, string and paper. Some of the materials the sculptures we are about to see are made. Do all materials have the same weight, smell and temperature? Why do sculptors pick one material instead of another? What if Alberto Carneiro's flower had been made of steel?
