Are maths and art really that apart? Can fields of knowledge really be that distant from one another? Throughout history, there have always been moments where art and science have met, for instance, artists' use of mathematics. But in most cases, the presence of maths in art cannot be easily distinguished. Careful observation is required to see this relation.
This visit challenges students to initiate the discovery of mathematics in art by establishing an active dialogue around a selection of works of art. The collective brainstorming which will take place constitutes an attempt to interweave these universes which are usually so remote in study and school.
