Animal dominoes
Gallery-game for organised groups
Tuesdays to Fridays - 10:00 to 18:00
(*) Reservation required.
In the painting “Rapto na Paisagem Povoada”, 1943, António Pedro painted a horse with skin that looks like a colourful quilt. “Does this horse really exist or is it just a hoax?” Oscar Wilde said that it was only after painters had painted the sunset that people started looking at it more carefully. “After becoming acquainted with the way painters in this exhibition depict animals, can you ever look at them in the same way?” A set of large coloured cards will guide the young visitor in identifying the role-players in this game.
